View on map: Hammerhead

The hammerhead shark is distinguished by its unique head structure, featuring hammer-shaped protrusions on either side with an eye located on the outer edge of each. This peculiar appearance resembles large ears, hence the name "hammerhead." Known for its aggressive nature, this dangerous shark is capable of attacking people and often travels in schools.

In addition to its formidable presence, the hammerhead shark is also valued as a culinary ingredient. Its fins, in particular, are dried and used in an exquisite dish highly favored by the nobles of Calpheon, making them extremely expensive.

Potential fishing zones are suggested automatically from real-player ranking observations and still need review.

How ranking evidence is attributed

Ranking observations record a fish, timestamp, and player position—not the fish’s exact catch location. FishyStuff attributes a 500-game-unit uncertainty ring around that position to the current fishing-zone map.

Fully contained

The entire uncertainty ring falls inside one fishing zone in the current map. This is stronger spatial support, but it is not promoted automatically: ranking evidence does not establish a fishing group, and zone boundaries may still need review.

Partial overlap

The ring crosses a zone border and touches more than one fishing zone. Every touched zone receives weaker positive support because the exact zone attribution is unclear.

These counts indicate presence support, not catch rates or drop rates.
