These Terms cover Crio (Application ID 1377884733639360633) and Baby Crio (Application ID 1378839517330542682), the beta version that may receive features first. The operator is:
Jannik Höfler
c/o IP-Management #11515

Crio is a free, privately operated, non-commercial bot, not a Discord service. It is independent of FishyStuff accounts and acceptance of FishyStuff Terms; the FishyStuff Terms do not govern Crio.
Both Crio and Baby Crio offer /terms and /privacy, which link to these Terms and the Crio Privacy Policy, respectively. The Privacy Policy is also linked in the bot bio. For both server installations and personal (user) installations, Discord displays links to both documents before the installation is authorized.
These Terms apply to authorized server administrators who add Crio or Baby Crio to a server and to users who install either bot for direct messages, where the Terms were made available and agreed during installation. That agreement creates a binding, free framework contract for permitted use of functions actually provided, without obliging the operator to provide them. Ordinary use of an already installed bot or being subject to automatic moderation does not require acceptance or create this contract. Use of Discord is also governed by Discord’s terms and the rules of the relevant server. Discord is not a party to this contract.
2. Use and content
Server installation is limited to the MaoMaoPrince Fishing Community and requires the necessary permissions. Personal installation for commands does not add the bot to another server. Responses may be visible to others in the selected Discord context. Users must have the necessary rights or authorization for content they transmit.
In particular, users must not violate laws or rights, harass or deceive others, send spam or malware, attack systems, bypass permissions, request limits, moderation, or security measures, or misrepresent Crio or its relationship with Discord or Pearl Abyss. Harmful, abusive, or unusually large requests may be rejected or limited.
3. Moderation and review
Automatic moderation applies only in the MaoMaoPrince Fishing Community. Crio checks message frequency within and across channels, repeated content, and messages in a channel designated for automatic anti-spam action. It does not assess whether a particular link is safe.
Rules can depend on patterns across several messages. When a rule triggers, Crio may delete that user’s recent messages within the rule’s time and channel scope, including across channels, and attempt to remove the user without prior human approval. This is a kick, not a ban: Crio does not prevent rejoining, although other server restrictions can. Later messages are checked again. Rules can also affect legitimate messages.
The moderation team may independently take additional action. Affected people can challenge an action and request human review through the server moderation team or contact@karpfen.dev.
Crio does not decide other restrictions imposed by human moderators. The risks described here do not exclude the operator’s liability for their own breaches of duty; section 5 applies. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
4. Voluntary provision and termination
This framework contract gives no entitlement to the provision or continuation of any bot function, including commands, moderation, hosting, support, or updates. The operator may choose whether, when, and for whom to provide them and may interrupt or discontinue them at any time without a particular reason. Repeated provision or a request for a function alone creates no entitlement. Individual agreements take priority. Duties to protect data already entrusted to the operator, existing claims on winding up the relationship, and privacy rights remain unaffected.
The framework contract is indefinite. Either party may terminate it ordinarily at any time without a particular reason, effective upon receipt of notice by the other party. Notices to the operator can be sent to the contact above. Statutory rights to terminate for cause and other mandatory rights remain unaffected.
5. Liability
The operator is liable without contractual limitation for intent, gross negligence, culpable injury to life, body, or health, fraudulent concealment, expressly assumed guarantees, and any other mandatory liability.
For ordinary negligence, liability for breach of essential contractual duties is limited to the damage foreseeable when the contract was concluded and typical for that contract. Essential duties are those that enable proper performance of the contract and on whose observance users may regularly rely. Otherwise, liability for ordinary negligence is excluded. The exceptions to limited liability above and mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected. These rules also apply to the conduct of the operator’s legal representatives and persons acting to fulfil the operator’s obligations.
6. Changes and language
Changes are made available through Discord and an optional RSS feed (Download plain text (.txt)). Publication alone does not amend an existing contract. The German version is authoritative; the English translation is provided for convenience. See also the Crio Privacy Policy.
